My latest models to be completed are two 009 / 4mm scale FR 'Barn' carriages 105 and 102 finished in their current condition.

Each carriage has been scratch built in styrene and hand painted. Interior detail has been added to the client's specification and bogies have been supplied at the normal retail price.

Boston Lodge Works is proud to have done its bit to help the UK's export drive with the safe arrival in Holland of a pair of 7mm scale ex-SAR AY ballast wagons.

A delighted client emailed to say: "These are indeed massive models, wow! Fabulous work, I'm really chuffed with them."

Good progress with the commission for a pair of FR Barns 102 & 105.

102 is now complete and both of them will now be painted in the current red and cream livery.

For details on the construction of 102 see the Bron Hebog blog.

Here are a couple of snaps of the finished paint job on a pair of 7mm scale ex-SAR AY ballast wagons which have been built for a client (who is providing his own bogies).

Look closely you can see the transfer rivets beneath the paint.
